April 2021 | 12:00 Uhr | Liebigstra\u00dfe 34 10247 Berlin<\/strong><\/p>\n ENGLISH BELOW<\/p>\n Sechs Monate ist es her, dass die Liebig 34 als Manifestierung des Hauses an der Ecke Liebigstra\u00dfe\/Rigaerstra\u00dfe aufh\u00f6rte zu existieren. Sechs Monate ist es her, dass ein jahrelanger Kampf in einer R\u00e4umung am Morgen, einen Aufstand am Abend, zahllosen weiteren Solidarit\u00e4tsaktionen \u2013 darunter ein Anschlag auf die Ringbahn, der diese tagelang au\u00dfer Betrieb setzte \u2013 und letztlich dem Verlust eines globalen Symbols des Anarcho-Queer-Feminismus m\u00fcndete.<\/p>\n Aber sechs Monate sp\u00e4ter und die Liebig lebt weiter; in Bristol, wo letzte Woche eine Demonstration \u2013 nach der Entf\u00fchrung und Ermordung von Sarah Everard durch eine:n Polizist:in der Metropolitan Police \u2013 gegen geschlechtsspezifische Gewalt und ein neues autorit\u00e4res Polizeigesetz zu einer Nacht der Gewalt gegen die Polizei eskalierte; in London, wo der gleiche Kampf zur Besetzung einer stillgelegten Polizeistation f\u00fchrte; in Mexiko-Stadt am Internationalen Frauentag, wo militante Feminist:innen den Zaun um den Nationalpalast durchbrachen und die Schilde der Bereitschaftspolizei in Brand setzten; in der letzten Woche in Berlin, wo es wegen der R\u00e4umung der Meuterei und der anhaltenden Bedrohung von Rigaer 94, Potse, K\u00f8pi Wagenplatz und anderen Projekten zu Demonstrationen und Angriffen kam. Mit dem Wegfall des Hauses ist die Liebig sofort nirgendwo und \u00fcberall.<\/p>\n In der Krise des Sp\u00e4tkapitalismus, die durch die Corona-Pandemie akut geworden ist, versuchen Regierungen weltweit, ihr Arsenal an Repression gegen emanzipatorische und revolution\u00e4re Bewegungen zu verst\u00e4rken. Neue Polizeigesetze gegen Versammlungsrechte werden in Gro\u00dfbritannien und Frankreich vorgeschlagen und in Griechenland verabschiedet. Hausbesetzungen und autonome R\u00e4ume in Athen, Ljubljana und Berlin werden ger\u00e4umt. Die Antifa und die anarchistische Bewegung werden in den USA zur Terrororganisation erkl\u00e4rt, w\u00e4hrend das gleiche Narrativ in Barcelona zur Verhaftung von acht Anarchist:innen nach den Protesten gegen die Inhaftierung von Pablo Hasel f\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n Als physischer Raum gibt es die Liebig 34 nicht mehr; aber unsere Ideen und unsere Solidarit\u00e4t sind gerade deshalb so widerstands- und anpassungsf\u00e4hig, weil sie nicht auf Eigentum beruhen. Kapitalismus mag uns lehren, dass der Wert eines Hausprojekts das Haus ist, aber wir wissen und erleben, dass er weit dar\u00fcber hinausgeht. Die Liebig34 ist nicht das Haus in der Liebigstr. 34, sie ist das, was die Menschen daraus gemacht haben. Die R\u00e4umung des Hauses ist ein Verlust, weil die Bewohner:innen ihr Zuhause verloren haben und weil wir als Gesellschaft diesen Raum verloren haben, aber es ist keine Niederlage. Das Kollektiv Liebig34 mag vielleicht in den Mauern dieses Hauses gegr\u00fcndet worden sein, aber es braucht sie nicht, um zu existieren. Es lebt weiter. Und so auch all das, wof\u00fcr es steht. Kulturelle Praxis und politische Organisierung brauchen vielleicht einen materiellen Raum, aber Ideen nicht. Unsere Visionen leben weiter. Und so auch unser Kampf. Liebig34 ist \u00fcberall, weil sie \u00fcberall gebraucht wird. Liebig34 wird niemals sterben, weil sie immer gebraucht werden wird.<\/p>\n Sollten die staatlichen Beh\u00f6rden glauben, uns zum Schweigen bringen zu k\u00f6nnen, indem sie uns zu Boden pr\u00fcgeln, verg\u00e4\u00dfen sie, dass genau das der Grund ist, warum wir \u00fcberhaupt k\u00e4mpfen. Je h\u00e4rter sie uns behandeln, desto h\u00e4rter werden wir k\u00e4mpfen. Weil es eben nicht um ein bestimmtes Haus geht. Sondern weil es um den Grund geht, warum es seinen Menschen entrissen wurde. Sondern weil es um die Eigentumsverh\u00e4ltnisse an sich geht. Sondern weil es um unsere gesellschaftlichen Strukturen als Ganzes geht. Wie sollen wir nach einem solchen Akt der Gewalt schweigen? Wie k\u00f6nnten wir es jemals \u201eeinfach sein lassen\u201c, wenn es um unsere Lebensbedingungen geht? Politische Arbeit ist kein Hobby, es ist der Kampf f\u00fcr ein besseres Leben. Alles, was wir tun, ist gesellschaftliche Interaktion, also warum sollte es uns jemals nicht mehr wichtig sein, wie die gesellschaftliche Ordnung ist?<\/p>\n Es kann uns niemals egal sein. Und deshalb m\u00fcssen wir wieder aufstehen. Wir k\u00f6nnen es uns nicht leisten stehenzubleiben. Lasst uns wieder deutlich machen, was wir wollen. Lasst uns ihnen wieder zeigen, dass wir ihre Gewalt nicht tolerieren.<\/p>\n Lasst uns in der Offensive bleiben. Alerta!<\/p>\n Six months since Liebig 34, as the constellation of the haus on the corner of Liebigstrasse and Rigaerstrasse, ceased to exist. Six months since years of struggle culminated in an eviction in the morning, a riot in the evening, countless other acts of solidarity -including an attack on the ringbahn which left it out of service for days- and ultimately the loss of a global symbol of anarcho-queer- But six months on and Liebig lives; in Bristol where last week a demonstration -following the kidnap and murder of Sarah Everard by a Metropolitican police officer- against gendered violence and a new authoritarian policing bill escalated into a night of violence against the police; in London where the same struggle resulted in the occupation of a disused police station; in Mexico City on International Women\u2019s day, where militant feminists broke down the fence surrounding the National Palace and set fire to the riot cops\u2018 shields; in the last week in Berlin where the eviction of Meuterei and the ongoing threat to Rigaer 94, Potse, Koepi Wagenplatz and other projects saw demonstrating and attacks. With the haus gone Liebig is at once nowhere and everywhere.<\/p>\n WIth the crisis of late stage capitalism made acute by the corona pandemic, governments globally attempt to strenghten their arsenals in their repression of emancipatory and revolutionary movements. New anti-protest policing bills are proposed in the UK and France and enacted in Greece. Squats and autonomous spaces are evicted in Athens, in Ljubljana and in Berlin. Antifa and the anarchist movement are turned into the USA\u2019s internal enemy while the same narrative leads to the arrest of eight anarchists in Barcelona following the protests against the imprisonment of Pablo Hasel.<\/p>\n As a physical space, Liebig 34 is no more; but our ideas and our solidarity are as resilient and adaptable as they are precisely because they do not rely on property. Capitalism may teach us that the value of a hausprojekt is the house itself, but we know and experience that it goes far beyond this. Liebig34 is not the house on Liebigstr. 34, it is what the people made of it. The eviction of the house is a loss because the inhabitants lost their home and because as a society we lost the space it presented. But it is no defeat. The collective Liebig34 may have been founded within the walls of this house, but it doesn\u2019t need them to exist. It lives on. And so does everything it stands for. Cultural practice and political organization may need material space, but ideas don\u2019t. Our visions go on. And so does our fight. Liebig34 is everywhere because everywhere it is needed. Liebig34 will never die because it will always be needed.<\/p>\n Governmental authorities may believe to silence us by beating us to the ground. But they forget that this is the very reason for us to fight in the first place. The harsher they treat us, the harder we will fight. Because it is not about one specific house. Because it\u2019s about the reason it was forced from its people. Because it\u2019s about the system of property ownership in general. Because it\u2019s about our social structures as a whole. How can we be silent after such an act of violence? How could we ever \u201ajust let it go\u2018 when it\u2019s about the very essence of our lives? Political work is not a hobby, it is the struggle for a better life. Everything we do is a social interaction, so why would we ever stop caring about how society is structured?<\/p>\n We can\u2019t. And that\u2019s why we need to get up, once again. We can\u2019t afford to stand still. Let us, once again, make clear what we want. Let us, once again, show them that we won\u2019t tolerate their violence.<\/p>\n Stay on the offensive. Alerta!<\/p>\n\n
